Design Alternatives: Alternative 6
This cross section shows the mainline (primary travel lanes) and the collector-distributor (CD) road elevated above ground level with the ramps going down to ground level to meet the surface streets.
This video shows a fly through animation of Alternative 6. The freeway goes over the surface streets, like we have today, but much of the freeway is built on dirt rather than a continuous bridge.
